We are getting married!

Ben: It was a beautiful summer evening and we had both been invited for dinner by a mutual friend. Marie: One of the groomsmen actually. B: It was an all you can eat type of dinner. After much bragging about how much each person could eat, Marie ended up with the most food left on her plate. M: He always reminds me of that! How I bragged I could eat so many ribs and then went on to struggle finishing even just one! (He now knows I can EAT! Haha) B: I guess she spent more time talking than eating. I was attracted to her down to earth personality at the dinner table. We didn't get a chance to talk much but thanks to Facebook we were able to connect and get talking. M: Yes, a couple of days later, he respectfully slid into my Facebook DMs (ask a youngster what this means) and got my attention. We had our first date a few weeks later, where in passing, Ben recommended a book he thought would be good to help me make an important decision. (The book was No Excuses!: The Power of Self-Discipline by Brian Tracy for those curious to know! He told me that it helped him make the decision to move to New Zealand and thought it would help me too). I always say the book saved him (lol) because I wasn't sure there would be a second date but a couple of weeks later, he texted me asking me where I was so he could drop off the book to me, and that's when I caught my first 'feeling' for him, because I liked that he kept his word.....and has since. :) B: And as you can imagine, the rest of the story led us to where we are today. :)
