We're getting married!

We met in high school math class where I pretended to need study help and Brian thought he was the smart one. Study dates turned into a friendship we continued through high school and into college. While both at WMU, we discovered there was always more than a friendship and made it official!

The next 6 years were full of fun, laughs, and milestones. We graduated college, got a dog (love you Rems!) started our first jobs, and in 2016 moved all the way from Northern Michigan to Central Oregon. After about a year of living in Bend, OR, my sister, Taylor, came out to visit. We had a packed agenda; there is so much to see in Oregon. One stop was the beautiful Painted Hills in the John Day Fossil Beds. We hiked the Carroll Rim Trail for a panoramic view of the Painted Hills and surrounding desert. At the summit, my sister took a few pictures of Brian and I and the next thing I knew he was down on one knee. It was an amazing moment and of course I said yes! We can't wait for this next chapter and are excited to share the celebration with all of our family and friends! See you on the Sunrise Side!
