Question

General Notes

Answer

Please keep in mind that we are responsible for any damage to the property while we are there. Carrying in alcohol of any kind is not allowed and will result in being asked to leave the premises. Everything must be cleaned up and out of the venue by midnight.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity of the venue, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made to "{Your name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we hope you understand that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out "The {Your Last Name} Family" if your children have been invited. If not, your invitation will have either "Mr. & Mrs. {Your Last Name}" OR "{Guest 1} & {Guest 2}".

Question

What's the dress code? Are there colors we should or should not wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our loved ones dressed up with us! We're requesting for cocktail or semi-formal attire. Please no jeans! On our home page and the invitation, there are color swatches of our wedding colors available. We'd love if you could coordinate with those colors for photos, but is not a requirement by any means! Please avoid any colors typically reserved for the bride- white, creams, and ivories. We also ask that you avoid light gray as well.

Question

Should I bring a gift? Where are you registered?

Answer

The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However, if you wish to give a gift, we will gratefully accept a small contribution towards our honeymoon or house downpayment funds available under our registry tab. If you'd like to bring a card instead, there will be a designated space at the reception for you to safely deposit your card.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would please ask that you put your phones away during the ceremony and enjoy the moment. We will have a professional photographer/videographer on site responsible for pictures during the ceremony. Feel free to take pictures during the reception and send them our way afterwards!

Question

Are the events indoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors, but the reception will be held indoors! Both events will be at Harvest Moon Pond, so no traveling between venues. Please keep the outdoor ceremony in mind when planning attire- the grass may be soft.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

The venue has a paved and lit parking lot available for free parking. We encourage you to leave your car at the venue overnight if you're going to be enjoying some drinks, but if you do so, vehicles must be picked up by 9am the following morning.

Question

What's the best way to travel between the hotel and venue?

Answer

We recommend driving, taking an Uber, or potentially renting a vehicle for the weekend to make travel easiest. If you choose to take an Uber there, please select for a shuttle back to the hotel when you RSVP. The venue has let us know that Ubers have not been reliable on the way back from receptions. If you decide to leave a vehicle at the venue overnight they must be picked up by 9 am or they will be towed at the owner's expense.

Question

Will there be a bar or drinks provided?

Answer

We will have some prepaid options that will be first come first serve. Once those options are out, there will be a full cash bar available as well.
