WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Yes - the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you! To our rowdy friends out there- shots are not permitted at Black River Barn.

WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE SERVICE?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a shuttle service from the hotels listed on this site. There will be two 14-passenger shuttles running folks to the ceremony and back to the hotel during and after the reception. The pre-wedding shuttles will run from 2:45pm - 3:45pm. Busses will begin picking up guests at 8:30pm, with the last shuttle being at 11:30pm. Please no drinking and driving!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

We would love to see our guests dress up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal attire for our big day. For men- this means a suit or dress pants with a nice shirt. For women- this means a cute jumper or dress of any length. Please refrain from wearing jeans, white, or shades of white!

WILL THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION BE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be a combination of the two. And YES we will have air conditioning! For those that want to wander outside, there will be three fire pits and heaters running. We hope you like the space as much as we do.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

Answer

We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our big day, but yes- you can take pictures! We hope you stop by the photo booth, too!

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

Due to the capacity of the venue (and having massive families), we can only accommodate guests listed on the invite cards. If your invitation includes a guest, the answer is yes! If it's only addressed to you, we ask that you come solo. Thank you for understanding!

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Answer

Although we love your kiddos, we would like to keep this an adults-only reception. Use this as a date night to eat some good food, enjoy the open bar, dance, and have fun! Thank you for understanding.
