Matron of Honor
I’ve known Katelyn since we were in 6th grade. She has been a loyal friend for many years and I always enjoy our deep conversations and fun adventures. Even when I went out of state for 4 years of college, we never lost our friendship and I‘m super thankful for that. It’s been wonderful to see Katelyn’s passion for God and I love that our friendship is a space where we can encourage each other in our faith. I had the pleasure of being in Katelyn’s wedding earlier this year and I’m so excited for her and her new husband! And I’m honored to now have her standing with me at my wedding very soon!
Bridesmaid
Briana is one of my beautiful cousins who has also been such a sweet friend that I could confide in. We’ve had so many laughs and fun conversations. When she was in school at NAU, we would sometimes talk over skype about dating and relationships and any time I had news, I couldn’t wait to tell her. Briana carries so much joy and is always so fun to be around. I’m also so proud of the amazing job she’s been doing in her first couple years as a teacher. I was in her wedding last year and I’m so excited to have her stand with me at mine!
Bridesmaid
I got to know Alicia during the time I spent interning at Reigning Grace Ranch in Rio Verde, Arizona and she quickly became a close friend. We shared so many laughs and crazy adventures around the ranch and while running errands. She’s someone that will never fail to you make you smile and laugh, and she always goes above and beyond in helping others. Alicia has become like a sister to me and I’m so glad to have her be a part of my wedding!
Bridesmaid
Tori and I have been friends since just before kindergarten. She was my best friend as a kid and we spent countless hours together in the same class at school, playing at our family homes and in our backyards, and riding and showing horses. It’s so special to me that we’ve been able to keep our friendship alive to this day, and it’s been neat to see the strong woman that she’s become and the sweet mom she is to her two girls. I’m so excited to have her as a bridesmaid on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
Anna and I have known each other since we were very young. Our families were connected through church and music lessons. We lost touch for a lot of years but then Anna and I reconnected a couple years ago at the young adult ministry at the church where we now both attend. Anna is an amazingly talented singer/songwriter and it’s been so fun reviving our friendship and seeing how she’s pursued her talents. I’m so glad to have this sweet friend stand with me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
I met Victoria a couple years ago in the young adult group at what I now consider my home church. She was someone I connected with quickly and we enjoyed getting to know each other at the young adult retreat, where I discovered she has some mad Frisbee skills! It’s been so fun building a closer friendship with her over time and she’s always a great person to chat with about life’s challenges and triumphs. It’s awesome to see her love for God and desire to serve him and shine His light, especially in her work as a teacher. I’m honored to have this friend as one of my bridesmaids.
Best Man
I have known Jason for over 16 years. We first met in 8th grade at Madison Prep and we became best friends right off the bat. We continued our close friendship into college but in our 2nd year, he moved out to Virginia for school. I really appreciated how Jason worked to keep the friendship alive even while 2000 miles apart. A few years ago Jason moved back to Arizona with his wonderful wife Stephanie. I truly admire Jason for who he is and his love for the Lord and I’m so blessed to have him as my best man for the most important day in my life.
Groomsman
Joshua is my older brother and has been a big part of my life. As a younger brother looking up to him, I saw numerous characteristics that made me want to be like him. When he was 17 he was diagnosed with cancer and that was a difficult time in all our lives. But the Lord brought him through it and molded Joshua into a man of strong faith. I really admire Joshua and his passion for the Lord. He also truly has a love for other people. If you see him interact at all in life you will notice he is always reaching out to others and eventually will bring that conversation into talking about the Lord. I have a very high respect for my older brother and I’m so glad to have him as a groomsman for my wedding.
Groomsman
Seth is my younger brother. Although we had our challenges together growing up, we grew into a close brotherly relationship as we got older. I love Seth’s passion for the Lord and his mission in life. He uses the desires the Lord gave him to love and care for those around him. Seth has a strong work ethic that allows him to grow and serve others in life. I appreciate the way he shares deeply about what is going on in life. I look forward to seeing where the Lord takes him and I’m glad to have him standing next to me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Jacob is April’s brother who lives in California. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few months into dating April. Although we have only seen each other a few times, I have felt in every interaction that Jacob is a very authentic man and has a passion for the Lord. I have no doubt the Lord is going to use him in many special ways in his life. He is currently working in LA in the field of music recording. I look forward to calling this man my brother-in-law and I’m blessed to have him stand next to me when I marry his sister.
Groomsman
Josiah and I met 5 years ago. He was living with a friend of mine from church. Even though I only had a few interactions with this guy, I could sense humility, love and maturity. About a year later, we developed a deeper relationship when I moved in with him as we both rented rooms from his roommate. I started to realize even more the depth of Josiah’s love for people and how strong his desire was to serve others. When I bought my house in 2018, Josiah asked if he could move in with me and I was so excited to continue living with him. In total we lived together for about 4 years until he married his beautiful bride. I was sad to see him leave but blessed to have been able to get to know an awesome man.
Groomsman
I first met Josh when he was in my older brother’s wedding in 2016. In the beginning of 2019, I started to attend the same church as him and we worked with each other at our young adult group and help together in the kids’ ministry on Sundays. We grew the closest when we both served in VBS acting out the roles of Paul and Dionysus. We were the comedy of the week! He ended up becoming my roommate at the end of last summer and I have truly enjoyed having him in the house. Josh’s love and passion for the Lord is exciting to watch. I look forward to seeing how the Lord works in Josh’s life.
