Pine Creek Gorge is also known as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. There is an overlook that is easy to get to, as well as hiking trails that take you down in to the gorge. It is a great place to see the leaves start to change!
Ricketts Glen State Park

Ricketts Glen is on the way to the venue if you are driving up from the southeast. There are waterfalls to check out, as well as forest hikes and a lake.
Watkins Glen State Park

We love Watkins Glen! It's about an hour drive north from the venue, and the park has lovely hiking trails that take you through the gorge past mystical waterfalls.
The NY Finger Lakes

If you are up for a drive, the finger lakes region is north of Troy, with Seneca Lake being the closest. There are lots of wineries and shops in the area to check out.
