The Arroyo Grande Village has many great restaurants and shops along Branch Street. Some of our favorites are Branch Street Deli for Lunch, Mason Bar & Kitchen for Dinner, and Rori's Artisanal Creamery for Ice Cream. The Village is also home to a Farmers Market on Saturday from 12pm to 2:30pm.
Originally constructed in early 1875, the swinging bridge is the only one in California!
Just 15 miles from our wedding venue, you can find yourself at the intersection of Johnson Avenue & Higuera Street, symbolizing the union of our two families.
Beyond the Swinging Bridge lies a gazebo that is home to a plaque inscribed with "The Four-Way Test," donated by Arroyo Grande's sister city, Hermosillo, Mexico. This is meaningful as the Higuera family originated not far from Hermosillo.
Avila Family Barn is a fun family-owned farm that features farm animals that you can feed, a bakery, market, and hay rides. You can also meet the famous Rooftop Ralph!
For the thrill-seekers, the Oceano Dunes offers ATV off-roading for rent or you can bring your own. This is the only California state park where vehicles are allowed on the sand dunes. Feel the rush of the ocean breeze as you explore the dunes in high speed.
Saving the best for last. There are many local wineries and breweries to be found across Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo. We highly recommend checking one out for a tasting.
