While both at Michigan State University, Adam and I met online and ended up going on a date during finals week in the Spring of 2018. On our day we of course got ice cream at the iconic Michigan State Dairy Store and sat by the Red Cedar River watching the squirrels run around and chatting. While wrapping up our date Adam insisted on walking me back to my dorm... little did I know he had an exam across the street and almost missed it! This act stuck out to me as one of the sweetest acts I could ever imagine. We truly thought we would never see each other again since he was set to drive back to Maryland at the end of the week. I moved out of my dorm room that night but made a critical mistake…I left my clothes in my dorm room! The next morning, I traveled back to East Lansing and invited Adam to go on a second date before he left. As the summer started, we both couldn’t wait to get back to East Lansing to continue dating. The second that school started we were inseparable, from studying to football games to dates, you couldn’t find me without Adam and vice versa. We celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, and holidays. We attended semi-formal and formal until March 2020, when Michigan State shut down. Our college experience was over in one week, and we both moved back home, unsure of when we would see each other next. We worked to make our relationship a priority with the distance. We Facetimed every night and bonded over the fun of playing Fortnite together. Adam then graduated from Michigan State with a degree in Economics in the winter of 2020 where I was able to celebrate this accomplishment in Maryland. Then in May of 2021, I graduated from Michigan State with my degree in Biochemistry where Adam came to support me. Shortly after I moved from Michigan to Maryland to live with Adam as we continued to foster our relationship. In May of 2022, I started my master’s degree at Johns Hopkins where I recently graduated in May 2024. I truly could not have completed my degree without Adams's unconditional love and support. Later in the same week, Adam took me back to Michigan State where he surprised me and asked for my hand in marriage! We are so excited to share our love with all of you! Please feel free to reach out to the bride (281-507-2311) and the groom (240-477-0018) with any well wishes! -Love Adam and Megan
