Covid Update & FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lauren Johnson and Barrett Burns
In light of COVID-19, we wanted to let you know our wedding is going forward as planned. If you are not comfortable to attend, we completely understand. We just ask that you please update your RSVP on our website, or let us know personally. We wish you health and safety during this time. The venue is taking extra precautions for the health and safety of our guests. See below for additional information!
Question

How will you keep guests safe and what precautions are being taken?

Answer

- The venue is currently operating at 1/3 less capacity - During the ceremony, we will have extra seating to allow plenty of space. Please also feel welcome to stand in the back or sides if you feel more comfortable. - During the cocktail hour and dinner, you have the option to stay outside or spread out inside the venue. The grounds are large enough where you have several options to distance. High tops will be available outside if you prefer to eat outside the reception venue. - There will be multiple hand sanitizing stations around the venue, and masks will be available for you. - All serve staff will wear masks & gloves. We will have a buffet, but food will be served by an attendant to limit the amount of touch points. -The shuttle bus that takes guests to and from the venue back to the parking lot is sanitized after each pick up and drop off. We also respectfully ask that you take your own precautions leading up to the wedding to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Question

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

Pending weather, we plan to have the ceremony outside and cocktail hour inside and outside. If it rains, everything will be held inside the venue.

Question

Is transportation available?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will be provided to pick you up from the hotel to bring you to the wedding, and to take you back at the end of the night. We know you'll be taking advantage of the open bar and want to make sure everyone can have the best time and get back safely! NO drinking and driving please. Shuttle Arrival to Sleep Inn to begin pickup- 3:30PM Departure from Sleep Inn to head to venue- 3:45PM Pick up from venue after send off- 10PM (ish)

Question

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Cars can be left at the venue overnight, but must be picked up by 11AM Sunday morning. Although we highly recommend just taking advantage of the provided shuttles so that you don't have to worry about a thing!

Question

Can I bring my kiddos?

Answer

As much as we love to watch the children run and play, this will be an adults only kind of day! Please find child care for your kids, and come let loose with us!

Question

Will this be an "unplugged" ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We respectfully ask that you do not take any photos during our ceremony. This includes on cameras and cell phones. We hired the best photographers and videographers to capture this special moment!

For all the days along the way
