Charming shops, cozy cafes, and some of the best restaurants around — Downtown Los Gatos is where you’ll find us wandering (probably with a coffee from Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company or a gelato from Dolce Spazio Gelato in hand). Some of our favorite spots downtown are LOMA Brewing Company for a cold beer, Pedro’s Restaurant & Cantina for the best Mexican food, and Oak & Rye for pizza that's totally worth the trip!
If you're feeling adventurous, you can hop off the Los Gatos Creek Trail and head up St. Joseph’s Hill. Locals lovingly call it "The Damn Trail" — partly because it overlooks the Lexington Reservoir Dam, and partly because of the famous "Dammit Run" race every August that benefits Los Gatos High School (LGHS)! Cecily spent the majority of her high school cross country and track days running this trail — so it holds a special (and slightly sweaty) place in her heart. Lace up your sneakers... and watch out for that third hill!
Tucked into the hills of Los Gatos, Testarossa Winery is one of California’s oldest and most beautiful wineries, with a rich history dating back to 1888. Beyond its award-winning wines and stunning stone cellars, it holds a special place in our hearts — it’s where Cecily’s parents were married! Whether you're stopping by for a wine tasting or just to enjoy the views, it’s a piece of Los Gatos history you won't want to miss.
Downtown Campbell is full of charm, cozy cafes, cute boutiques, and one of the best farmers' markets around. It's extra special to us — it’s where Cecily and Austin first met and later reconnected over drinks both at Water Tower Kitchen! Don’t miss a stop at Aqui for their famous “industrial strength” margaritas (a favorite of Austin’s mom, Judy!). If you're here on a Sunday, stroll through the Farmers' Market for delicious food trucks, live music, and adorable local art stands.
An open-air shopping and dining center that's perfect for an afternoon adventure! You'll find boutique shops, a movie theater, breweries, and some of our favorite restaurants — especially LUNA, where we love to grab a cozy dinner (and some of the best margaritas around — they have tons of options!). It's a great spot to wander, window shop, and enjoy the California sunshine!
One of our favorite spots to watch surfers catch waves! Pleasure Point is laid-back and beautiful — a great place for a beach walk, people-watching, and grabbing a bite at local favorites like Pleasure Point Café (home of the BEST breakfast burritos!).
