WELCOME PARTY QUESTIONS:

Answer

General Welcome Party & Campo di Bocce FAQs.

Question

What is a welcome party? Will you be having an engagement party?

Answer

In lieu of an engagement party, we’re hosting a Welcome Party to kick off the wedding weekend! With family and friends coming from both coasts (and everywhere in between), we wanted a fun, relaxed way to spend more time together. Join us for drinks, bites, bocce, and plenty of mingling—no speeches, no pressure, just good vibes before the big day!

Question

What is Campo di Bocce?

Answer

Campo di Bocce is a charming Italian-inspired venue in Los Gatos that combines great food, drinks, and bocce ball! We chose it because bocce is a beloved family tradition, and this spot captures the fun, laid-back energy we wanted to kick off our wedding weekend. Think cozy Tuscan vibes, friendly competition, and a perfect place to celebrate with the people we love! For more information, check out their website: www.campodibocce.com

Question

Will the welcome party at Campo di Bocce be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The party will be held at Campo di Bocce in Los Gatos, on their beautiful outdoor bocce courts. Heaters will be available, but we recommend bringing a light jacket just in case it gets chilly.

Question

Is there a welcome party dress code? I don't know what to wear.

Answer

Our Welcome Party at Campo di Bocce will be Smart Casual | Playful & Comfortable. Think sundresses, jumpsuits, blouses or polo shirts and nice jeans. Flat, comfortable shoes are required for Bocce - sneakers are great! No heels are permitted on the courts.

Question

When should I arrive to the welcome party? Do I have to stay the entire time?

Answer

We recommend arriving right at 1:00 PM so you can grab a drink, mingle, and get in on the games early. The party runs until 4:00 PM! Come for as much or as little as you’d like—we’ll just be happy to see you.

Question

Are kids allowed at the welcome party?

Answer

Yes! The Welcome Party is casual and family-friendly—kids are welcome to join the fun. We kindly ask that you indicate how many guests (including children) will be in your party when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Is there parking at the welcome party? what about ride shares?

Yes! We’ll have delicious Italian appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks on us throughout the event. Alcoholic beverages will be available at the bar for purchase, so feel free to grab your favorite drink and join the fun!

Question

What is Bocce? Do I need to know how to play it?

Answer

Bocce (pronounced BAH-chee) is a classic Italian lawn game where teams take turns rolling balls to get as close as possible to a smaller target ball called the pallino. It’s easy to learn, fun to play, and perfect for all ages and skill levels—no prior experience needed! We will have simple instructions available for those just learning and resident experts like Cecily's Papa Joe ready to give pro tips! For those who aren't quite into Bocce Ball, we will have other small games available like cards, dominoes, and a sip n' search board.

Question

Is Campo di Bocce ADA/mobility assistance friendly?

Answer

Yes! Campo di Bocce is ADA-friendly, with accessible pathways, outdoor courts, and facilities. If you or a loved one (such as elderly guests, wheelchair users, or anyone needing mobility assistance) would like extra assistance, please let us know—we’re happy to help make sure everyone can comfortably join in the fun!
