Maid of Honor
Throwback to the day Johnny and I first met in Leeds Medical School. After a brief conversation, she decided to join me on my weekend trip to York for a Chinese New Year party. We ended up stranded at the train station without data or credit on our phones until my friend came to the rescue. We finally arrived at the party, only to discover that there was actually no Chinese food. To top it off we missed our train on the way back. That was the beginning of our beautiful friendshipš¤£
Best Man
Iāve been friends with Will since we were in our teens and am honoured to be one of his best men. Iāve got too many fond memories to count but some of my favourites times come from our trip inter railing with Joe (my fellow best man). Ups and downs: midnight walks through Paris and bed bugs, visiting cities across Europe and barely sleeping on trains and platforms, surviving off cheese samples and ā¬1 breakfasts ā I think we (mostly) wouldnāt have changed a thing.
Bridesmaid and Johnny's sister
I have many memories but my favourite is watching Korean dramas till morning and having to sneak upstairs past mumās room without being heard. We knew the exact spots on the floor to place our feet without making a sound. We always got caught though because mum is such a light sleeper š

Will has been a close friend of mine for about 14 years! We were just a couple of spring chickens when we met all those years ago in Redland Parish youth group. Crazy to think that little Bible nerd's now getting married. You're such a blessing to me mate! Praying for you and Johnny as you begin your married life! So excited for you both.

To the best Dr Auntie in the world. From the very start, youāve always made me laugh, given the best advice, bullied me, and spoiled me just a little too much! One of my favorite memories is when youād come from university and weād go to church together. Iām so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you! Love you always!
Groomsman
Hi Iām Hugo, Williamās brother. I met William 25 years ago the day I was born. Iāve got lots of funny memories with him, but my favourite story is the one when he threw an axe at me in the garden. Whether it was directed at me or not is up for debate! I know itās going be full on day at the wedding but maybe we keep any sharp objects away from William.ā

There are countless memories I could share that Iāve had with Johnny, from nights out, pulling all nighters in the library to our spa days. But nothing compares to sharing one of the most special days of my life with you by my side and I canāt wait to be by your side at the start of this new chapter in your life together with Will.

I first met Will when we were freshers at medical school on a walk to a Christian Medical event in Birmingham. From such a tender encounter we went on to live, study and work together for over six years, and also throw ourselves into many a crazy adventure ā from climbing the peaks of Lesotho, backpack cycling across France to residing in monasteries. He is a brother to me!

One of my favorite memories of Will and Johnny was the first time I met them. They drove all the way from Sheffield to Horsham during the Christmas holidays just to see me, and we spent the day hanging out, laughing, and just enjoying each otherās company. It was so wholesomeājust pure, good vibes, getting to know each other properly and sharing endless banter. What made it even funnier was how Will didnāt even flinch at me and Johnnyās brutal sense of humorāthe full-on African-style roasting. He wasnāt scared off at all, which honestly just made me respect him even more. It was such a good time, one of those memories that sticks with you.

"Here's a photo, circa 2020, of a young William Holdsworth and Rory Bevis, dressed as Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee (respectively). We'd met a year prior at Medical School, and bonded over a shared love of Lord of the Rings, the Forestry Commission, and OS maps. Here, you see me adopting a servantile role to the great Lord Holdsworth, though I later gained my own peerage as "Lord of the ATM". We now enjoy a more mutually respectful friendship.

Picture that shows my favourite memory of us; hair twinning at church after you went from my life group attendee to a life group leader in your own right š„°

Will and I have known each other since med school and early doctoring years. He's been a big encouragement to my faith over the years and he first got me into Barbershop singing - a highlight being a Beyonce medley we did at a Medsoc event. It's been a joy following him to Sheffield more recently!

Lived with Will for a few years in Birmingham. He used to come into my room at night sit in corner and watch me sleeping sometimes... bit odd to be honest but he seemed to enjoy it. Also his collection of model trains from the early 1900s got a bit out of hand at one point but I helped him sort through them - he found this hard but we pushed through together and developed good friendship! Overall he's not a bad lad despite what people say.
