When should I plan to arrive in Stresa?

We recommend arriving by Thursday, July 30th, 2026, to give yourself time to settle in before the wedding on Saturday, August 1st. If you’re able, consider arriving a few days earlier to enjoy the beauty of Lake Maggiore and adjust to the time zone!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is formal garden attire — think summer suits for the gentlemen and bright colored elegant gowns for the ladies. We ask that you avoid wearing black. We encourage light, breathable fabrics and block heels or wedges, as parts of the event will be on grass or cobblestone. Italy is hot during August, so please be prepared!
