I met Prall during my first week at UofM and it was like instant chemistry. We love all the same things including eating-out, going-out, and random Chicago trips, and we have always been able to count on each other. Over the years, Prall became like a sister to me. Whenever I see Prall, I know that we will always have the best time. We have celebrated many milestones together and I can't wait for many more to come. Hopefully, one day, we live in the same city again!
Wooseok Kim
Best Man
I met Wooseok during my sophomore year through mutual friends. Because none of us were old enough to get into bars at the time, his apartment became the main hangout spots for us. We found common ground through drinking games (like most college friends) and the stupidly excessive amount of time we spent playing Halo and Tetris. We became roommates in 2014, while I was dating Ploy. He was always very welcoming of her, even when I forgot to tell him that Ploy was going to be moving in for a couple months.
Sarah Koh
Bridesmaid
Sarah is my classmate in the econ program and I have never met anyone so mature and genuine. Although I was a pretty lousy study partner, Sarah has stuck with me and has taught me a few things. She has always been my mentor and my best friend. Now that Sarah moved to Asia and we don't see each other every week, I rely on Skype for catch up sessions as often as possible and it was like no time has passed at all. I truly am lucky to have her in my life, especially when we actually see each other.
Heeho "Heed" Park
Groomsman
I met Heeho in the same way that I met Wooseok, since they were roommates at the time. Heeho was always the energetic person of the group and always wanted to party and do random activities. Since I also liked to do those things, we ended up spending a lot of time together. I have gone on more trips with Heeho than I have with any other friends (even more than Ploy). It’s hard to have a bad time when hanging out with Heeho because he just makes everything more fun, without even trying.
Jieun Lee
Bridesmaid
Jieun and I bonded when we studied together for an intense exam a few years ago. We witnessed and supported each other through many highs and lows that life brought. She has always been there for me to give her perspective and I am so thankful for her constant advice through my dramas. She is the strongest person I know and our friendship only grows stronger over the years. I am looking forward to all the memories we make during my engagement and I am honored to have her by my side on my wedding day.
Humphrey Fang
Groomsman
I met Humphrey through a game of beer pong. Although I don’t remember who won that game, I do remember that when we became teammates, nobody could beat us. Aside from beer pong, we realized we had a lot of common interests, like our not at all embarrassing obsession with certain korean dramas. Humphrey was my roommate in 2011 and we somehow went an entire year without having any apartment furniture. Ironically, our main piece of living room furniture was a beer pong table.
Andrew Usher
Officiant
Andrew is the most frequent guest to our apartment and he brings all the fun and wisdom. After rejecting Ploy's "will you be my bridesman?", we are overjoyed that Andrew agreed to perform the ceremony since he has a great respect for tradition and history and has always guided us (especially Ploy) through many of our relationship's ups and downs. We are so honored he will be officiating us on our wedding day.
