What time should guests arrive to the Ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive ~15–20 minutes before the ceremony start time so we can begin promptly!

Do we need a passport or visa to attend?
Answer
Yes - Portugal requires a valid passport. Check travel requirements with your airline!

Is parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there’s parking at the venue. Rideshares and taxis are also options.

Is there a hotel room block?
Answer
Yes! The Penha Longa Resort still has a few spots remaining on the block and there is a 10% discount code for hotel once it’s full. Please see our Accommodations section for details, rates, and booking info.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Expect warm, sunny days with temperatures in the mid to high 70s, though marine fog can occasionally roll in, bringing cooler winds and evening temperatures dropping to the 60s. We recommend layering clothing to stay comfortable throughout the day and night.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, our wedding will blend indoor and outdoor settings. The ceremony will take place inside the chapel, while our cocktail hour and after-party will be held in an outdoor space. The reception will be celebrated indoors.

What is the dress code for the events?
Answer
For our welcome party, the dress code is dressy casual. We recommend bringing a light jacket/shawl as temperatures tend to drop in the evenings. For the wedding ceremony, we request formal attire. Given the venue’s cobblestone pathways, we also recommend comfortable dress shoes or wedges.

What is the best way to get to and from the events?
Answer
For the welcome party, if you’re not renting a car, the best way to get to and from the event is Uber/Bolt. If you are not staying at the Penha Longa Resort, we are providing transportation after the reception/after-party to Cascais. Details are provided when you RSVP.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests listed when you RSVP.
