FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 1st, 2026

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. Mahalo!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal-leaning cocktail attire is encouraged. Lightweight fabrics, wedges over stilettos and coastal-inspired colors are welcome. Think polished and elevated- dress pants and shirts or aloha shirts and cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits. Summer in Lahaina is hot! Our ceremony will be outside in the sun, and the reception is indoor/outdoor with fans and ocean breeze. Please keep comfort in mind for a beach setting.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate individual preferences. Please text Amanda with allergy concerns so she is able to relay this to Chef.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 12:00pm to Merriman's Kapalua. Guests will be seated at 12:20pm and ceremony doors will close. Late arrivals sadly will have to wait until the ceremony is finished outside in the parking area. Please be punctual so you can enjoy the day fully.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are warmly welcomed to attend the ceremony, although the reception will be an adults-only celebration. Mahalo for understanding.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided between the ceremony and reception or to individual accommodations. Uber is encouraged. Parking at both locations is plentiful. Guests are welcome to enjoy the time in between ceremony and reception to relax, refresh, or explore nearby establishments before rejoining us.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: Please consider the beach parking lot or the Kapalua Tennis Garden/Pickleball Courts, mountain side. Reception: Across the street from Honu Oceanside is Safeway Grocery. They have plenty of parking; it will also be safe to leave a vehicle overnight here if you choose to Uber safely home.
