Boulder is one of our favorite areas to explore. In downtown Boulder there's really cute shops and restaurants, Pasta Jays for some great Italian food.
Stunning rock features in Colorado Springs just an hour south of Denver. You can hike around the garden and learn about the rich history and wildlife that call the National Natural Landmark home.
This is a small town within the front range of the Rocky Mountains is just an hour and a half south of Denver. It is right next to both Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods. This town offers a variety of things to do such as hiking the Manitou Incline, many shops and restaurants, as well as the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and Cave of the Winds.
Rocky Mountain National Park offers stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. You can do many different hikes around the national park, or you can take the scenic drives through the park. We recommend getting a ticket to the Bear Lake section of the national park. This section offers multiple lakes and great views of the valley below. (Note: You will need to go to the Rocky Mountain National Park website a day early to get a timed entry permit for the Bear Lake Section of the park.)
Breckenridge is apart of ski town USA with it being a destination for many skiers and snowboarders alike during the winter season. You can go and check out the many different shops and restaurants. As well as see what a true ski town is really like.
HIKE: This 2.8-mile roundtrip hike will take you to the top of a mountain where a US Forest Services Fire Lookout sits. This fire lookout looks over the eastern plains portion of Colorado as well as the front range of the Rocky Mountains. You will also be able to see Pikes Peak from the fire lookout. This hike offers stunning views.
You can see different art features ranging from different eras throughout history. This is one of the locations where we took their engagement photos.
Here you can see the stunning views of the front Range of the Rocky Mountains. You can see the Flatirons which are a portion of the Rocky Mountains which looks like an iron. You will also see many prairie dogs who have made their homes there. This is the second location where we took our engagement photos.
In the city of Denver, there are a ton of different locations for you to see. You can check out a Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field. You can also see Mile high stadium, home of the Denver broncos and check out Ball Arena where the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche play. There are also plenty of different museums, a zoo, an aquarium, an amusement park, as well as Meow Wolf.
The Coors Brewery is the largest Brewery in North America. The tour will take you through the entire process from start to finish with how Coors crafts their selection of beverages. The tour will offer three free samples on the tour, and you will be able to check out their gift shop at the end. Note: Tickets for the tour can be booked up to a month out for the day of your choosing.
