Maid of Honor
The apple of my eye, the pain in my side, my little sister. We always joke that all the fighting growing up made us closer. I love her very much and I’m honored to have her stand by my side!
Bridesmaid
Anna and I have been friends since the womb, since the early days at Hope Church in Minnesota. She was my first best friend and remains a steadfast soul sister, even though we are miles apart.
Bridesmaid
Emmie and I have been sharing all of life’s joys and sorrows since we met the first week of freshman year at Grove City. My life would not be as bright without her. She makes Pittsburgh home for me. She will soon be a momma to a baby girl, and John and I can’t wait to babysit that little nugget.
Bridesmaid
Years ago, our mutual best friend Emily Burkley had a wedding. That wedding brought us bridesmaids together and we quickly became kindred spirits. Meliss is one of the most insightful and eloquent humans I know, and I can never be anything less than entertained (and loved and supported and challenged) by being in her presence. She is also the best person to have along as your partner on the hardest hike of your life (see photo).
Bridesmaid
Emily was the first friendly face that said hi to me when I found my first church home in Pittsburgh. We’ve known each other for only 6ish years but it feels like a lifetime! She is one of those friends who makes me feel at ease and loved and validated like a good counselor (ahem, I mean friend) should 😆
Best Man
Mark and I first met each other as freshmen in college upon joining the same fraternity. Mark is the type of loyal friend who will do anything for you; anytime, anywhere. I've been blessed to not only become great friends with Mark over the years, but also grow close to his family during stays at his childhood house in Indiana, PA. Mark now lives in Central PA and provides yet another great excuse for me to tell Hannah why we need to return to my hometown in the Fall and attend Penn State games.
Groomsman
Phil and I met as roommates during our freshman year of college. While I received my B.A. in Economics, Phil, hailing from California, also ensured I received a full education in the west coast lifestyle. Whether it be playing beach volleyball, going to a Buccos game, or just chillin, we always have a great time. Although we live on opposite sides of the state and don't get to see each other a ton, Phil and i remain great friends for life!
Groomsman
I had the privilege to live with Mitch after college. One of the most driven and passionate men I know. Whether it be serving in the military, doing an absurd amount of squats, or driving to Florida and back with me in 4 days to see 3 college football games, Mitch always pushes himself to the limit and encourages me to be a better man!
Groomsman
Another recent roommate of mine, Tom and I got to know each other beginning in 2016. Tom revolutionized our bachelor pad by introducing us to new Philly based nouns such as young bouls and jawns. He quickly became my go to guy for deep conversations about the rackets, plots and schemes in this life. If you need to find me on a Saturday morning, I'm hopefully getting breakfast at an old school Pittsburgh diner with Tom, laughing hysterically.
Groomsman
My roommate of 6 years. A founding member of the Burchfield Boys. My Thrill in the Hill party planning partner. Sam has been a pivotal part of my 20s life experience. I can confidently say it would not have been the same without him and I'm proud to have him stand with me at my wedding.
