Things To Do in Rio

The Wedding Website of John Linder and Suélen Fernandes Silva
Christ the Redeemer (Corcovado) – Ride the historic Corcovado train (https://www.tremdocorcovado.rio/) to the summit for city-and-bay views. Go early for lighter crowds. After your visit, head to Taberna 564 Restaurante, right outside the Corcovado train station, for a traditional Brazilian lunch. Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar) – Take the two-stage cable car from Praia Vermelha. Copacabana → Ipanema beach walk (sunset at Arpoador) – Stroll or bike the beachfront and end on the Arpoador rocks, a classic spot to watch the sunset. Selarón Steps + Lapa/Santa Teresa – Snap the colorful tiled staircase linking bohemian neighborhoods; combine with Lapa’s arches or the Santa Teresa tram/cafés. Tijuca National Park – Dip into the world’s great urban rainforest for easy viewpoints like Vista Chinesa or a short guided hike. Confeitaria Colombo—a Belle-Époque café with stained glass, then stroll Rua Gonçalves Dias for its charming little galleries and boutiques. Busy around lunch.
