Dog of Honor
Dale is everyone's best friend. His favorite activities include swimming, playing with frisbees, and carrying things in his mouth (e.g, water bottles, big sticks, sloth toy). Dale is also a big fan of naps. One always knows when Dale is taking a nap because he snores. Dale is SO happy to be a part of this wedding. He can't wait to see everyone!!!!
Officiant
Will is the best Dad a favorite son could ask for. (I hope Matt reads this part!). My Dad and I first met when I was born. He is intelligent, patient, and thoughtful. My Dad and I share a lot of the same hobbies. We both enjoy singing in the barbershop harmony style, playing family card games, and playing golf. My Dad has always played a pivotal role in my life and I consider myself very lucky to have him be our officiant.
Bridesman
He complimented my jeans on the first day of freshman orientation at USD and a beautiful friendship was born! I truly cannot imagine celebrating my life with John without having Vincent by my side. He was there from the beginning and his spunk and sass kept me stable through every finals week and into life's more complicated moments.
Bridesmaid
Emily was my very first friend in this crazy world and has been a constant in my life from the very beginning! From our time making up dances in her kitchen to the hours spent manifesting our futures in our "Dream Book", or even the handshake we failed to make a thing, every story from my childhood begins with "Emily and I..." All the shared laughs and countless memories together are the reason she will be stuck with me until the end.
Bridesmaid
I thank God for Taylor almost every day! She is my go-to when I need some advice from what rug I should buy to how I should explain to John that "yes, you should share your location with me." So incredibly blessed to be marrying into such an amazing family and extra grateful to be able to celebrate a lifetime of holidays, birthdays and all the other major life events to come!
Bridesmaid
She crashed into my life summer before our Sophomore year of high school and has stuck by me since! Emily is my therapist, sounding board, and all around adventure buddy. She not only pushes me outside my comfort zone and forces me to challenge myself but she also understands my dark humor. I am so appreciative for the endless memories, late night conversations and belly aching laughter.
Bridesmaid
I can't even place when Kenzie and I first met but all I know is that she one of the funniest, craziest, sweetest and greatest humans to come into my life! From late night adventures in Napa to roommates and surviving Beau's antics with me in San Diego, I feel incredibly lucky to have her constant support and friendship forever.
Bridesmaid
She is my little sunshine that beamed into my life our Sophomore year of high school. Her unwavering loyalty and constant joy have kept me sane as we try and figure out how to survive adult life together. I wouldn't want to drink endless margaritas as we make fun of ourselves with anyone else!
Flower Girl
NOcole! A nick-name I gave Nicole when we were young. I figured, if I called her Nocole, then I could use that name if she ever asked me to do anything. Nocole is like a sister to me. She shares many of the same interests as me. She loves to sing (she has an amazing voice) and she was recently accepted by her number 1 choice graduate school for speech language pathology. I promised Nocole that she would be my flower girl if I was given the position of flower boy at her wedding. I am following through on that promise. I am positive that Nocole will exceed everyone's expectations as flower girl!
Flower Girl
Ava is my favorite niece! (only niece so far....looking at you Matt + Taylor) She recently turned five years old. I appreciate Ava's curiosity and her thrive for adventure. I admire her ability to find happiness in the small things in life. I wish that I could have 1/10th of the energy that she has! I have no doubt that Ava will make an amazing flower girl!
Best Man
Meet my brother and best man, Matt (aka Mathias). I appreciate Mathias' competitive spirit. During childhood, we used to play hockey and basketball outside for hours. We even plugged in an additional light so that we could continue to play when it was dark. Mathias shares many of the same interests as my own. We enjoy playing chess, poker, and sports betting (Go Niners!). On a more serious note, I appreciate the value that Mathias places on spending time with family. It has been a blast going on various trips with Mathias and his lovely wife, Taylor. It has been a blessing to be back in Northern California and living closer to them.
Groomsman
I could not have asked for a better brother-in-law. I find myself siding with Beau whenever there are little sibling arguments between him and Sissy. Beau and I share some of the same hobbies. We can be found playing golf, ripping calluses at CrossFit, rippin beer tornados, singing tunes in the car, and drinking wine (we are wine members). I am blessed to have Beau as one of my groomsmen!
Groomsman
Dan sang with me in the a cappella cruise quartet Blend Tech on Celebrity Cruiselines. Man, have we been on some adventures. When I think of Dan, I think of.... movies in Aruba, sinking jet-skis, wine-and-cheese nights, sauna, homemade sandwiches at his Mom's house, specialty restaurants, beached whale game and singing everywhere we go. You know you are best friends with someone when you can call them out of the blue and chat for an hour as time flies by. Dan is that guy for me. I am blessed to have him be one of my groomsmen.
Groomsman
My man, Joshypoo Beswick. Josh is another member of my cruise ship a cappella quartet Blend Tech. The one aspect of Josh's personality that I admire most is his confidence. Needless to say, his quartet shirt was bright pink. Many of my most memorable adventures have been with Josh. Perhaps if he drinks enough he will share some of them. When I think of Josh I think of tattoos, "weeeee", martini bar, p90x, gummy bear, and plants vs zombies. A bit poor form to state inside jokes in these descriptions but oh well! Josh, I am blessed to have you as one of my groomsmen!
Groomsman
I met Michael with I was 12 years old at a barbershop chorus rehearsal. Our Dads used to sing in a barbershop quartet together. Little did they know, we would end up doing the same thing. We sang in a high school quartet together called "Blend Tech", competed in college, and are currently singing in a quartet right now called. Needless to say, Michael has been one of my best friends since we were young. Michael and I are basically like Troy Bolton from high school musical. Singing and basketball are a few of our favorite things. I simply remember my favorite things, and then I don't feel so bad. (I know Michael gets the joke). I am blessed to have him be my groomsmen!
Groomsman
I believe it was fate that I met Bryce. I was introduced to Bryce while auditioning for the a cappella group at USD. I later joined the same fraternity as Bryce and he became my big brother. When I think of Bryce I think of TimTracks, gyming and laying out, turkey burgers, Phil's bbq sauce, soulful music, laughter. Many of my best adventures in college were with Bryce. I am blessed to have Bryce as one of my groomsmen!
Groomsman
Danny Gould. Stud. I originally was introduced to Danny through Church. We performed in a bunch of musicals together growing up. We instantly had a friendship since we were one of the only straight guys in musical theater. Danny was in one of my earliest quartets called "The 4 Taquitos". Danny has been one of my oldest friends. Occasionally I visit Danny and we sing musical theater songs together on his karaoke machine for hours. God bless our significant others for allowing us to drunkenly sing "The Last Supper" from Jesus Christ Superstar into the wee hours of the night. I am blessed to have Danny as a groosmen!
Groomsman
Robert is like a brother to me. During my first year of college, I lived with his family. That was such a positive moment of time in my memory. It was nice to experience college for the first time while having the support of your family. I describe Robert to my friends as a gentle giant (he is 6'8). When I was living with him, I think he was in 5th grade at the time, I bet him $100 that he would never beat me in basketball. Fast-forward 5 years, he is 6'8 and playing varsity basketball. I made up all the excuses in the world not to play him e.g, sore ankle, can only play if we had a referee, can only play if we had an official referee. Robert and I share many of the same hobbies; fantasy football, Madden, Fifa, poker, and eating massive amounts of Chipotle. I am blessed to have Robert as one of my groosmen!
Groomsman
Shaun is like a brother to me. He is married to my lovely cousin, Marlena. When I first met Shaun, I challenged him to a game of Madden. I got demolished. This was the start of a wonderful friendship. It has been wonderful spending time with Shaun over the years. Family events, cruises, hikes with the pups, it has all been great. More recently, it has been nice spending time with him and Marlena in their new condo in El Dorado Hills. I am blessed to have Shaun be one of my groomsmen!
Groomsman
Nick is my brother-in-law and is one of the funniest people I know. He can always make me laugh when he is explaining a story. Needless to say, I enjoy spending time with him. Nick and I attended the same middle school and high school together so we have a lot of common connections. We both performed in Sanguine Humors, our high school improv group. I remember he used to practice some of the improv games with me before auditions. Nick also has one hell of a three-point shot in basketball. When I first met Nick, I played against him in basketball and he beat me. I think I told him to tell my sister that I won if I remember correctly. I am blessed to have Nick as one of my groomsmen!
