Maid of Honor
If you couldn't tell by the names, Shufen is Shumei's older sister! Shufen and Shumei grew up rollerblading, re-enacting scenes from TV shows and movies, and always looking out for each other. They both bond strongly over food, especially boba and ramen. Naturally being Shumei's oldest and best friend - Shufen will be her Maid of Honor. Shufen currently lives in Dallas, TX with her husband Jeremy. They own a fur child named Joey the husky and have been enjoying the last few months as they are recently married!
Bridesmaid
Though Megan and Shumei went to high school all 4 years together, they officially met when they were seniors in high school. In their English class to be exact... and they hated one another. But over the course of that year, they realized they actually had a lot in common and really balanced each other out. From there on out, they've become amazing friends who enjoy shopping at Target for hours and scouting for the most recent Oreo flavors to try. Megan Tedone recently moved from sunny CA and is currently living in Charlotte, NC and is enjoying the change of pace.
Bridesmaid
Lacy Youmans is a ball of fire that everyone enjoys being around. Lacy and Shumei met in high school through Samantha Palmer. When Shumei met Lacy, she could tell that Lacy was a loyal, witty, and bright individual. It's never a dull moment when you're hanging out with her. From Pam's (her mother) cooking, to Christmas parties, Lacy knows how to throw a great party! Lacy has been a great friend over the years and flew all the way to Dallas for Shumei and John's engagement! John and Shumei are so happy that Lacy will be standing up with them on the day of the wedding. Lacy currently lives in Orange County, CA. She works for an Australian swimwear line by the beach!
Bridesmaid
Where ever the wind blows is where you can find Hannah! She's a free spirited, adventurous individual that enjoys making new friends and seeing the world! Hannah and Shumei met by playing volleyball together at their high school. They both enjoy working out together, traveling and taking photos. Today, Hannah gets to see the world as a flight attendant. (Perfect job much?) She has had the opportunity to live in multiple states and currently has her stakes planted in Asheville, NC.
Bridesmaid
Samantha is a former snorkler! She used to lead tour groups to swim with whale sharks, sea lions and much more out in Cabo San Lucas, where she resided for 6 years. Samantha and Shumei met in high school playing volleyball and running track (she was a lot faster than Shumei). Sam and Shumei's favorite things to do are to hang out on the swings at the park, eat ice cream with Poptarts, and have deep conversations about the meaning of life. No matter how far the distance, Samantha and Shumei are always in contact! Samantha, her husband and her baby boy just moved back to California from Cabo San Lucas. They are enjoying their time with their family and excited to start their new journey back.
Bridesmaid
Samantha is one of Shumei's longest high school friends. It all began back during the summer before freshman year started. All the other girls knew each other from their middle school, but Sam and Shumei were from private schools and didn't really know anyone there. They paired up and bonded over private school life, Irish pop bands that no one else heard of, and volleyball. They had the opportunity to play club volleyball and travel together thanks to the Palmer family vacations! Shumei knew early on that Sam would be standing by her one day when she tied the knot. Sam currently teaches at a private school in Orange County and loves dancing to country music!
Best Man
Alfredo and I met as young catholics going through confirmation only to find out we would be in the same high school a year later. Through out our time growing up and going off on our own paths, we always found time to call each other, visit each other, or just see what's going on. We nerded out over Star Wars scripts on the internet, played guitar hero and drank green tea all day long. I remember being very jealous at his beard, as I was unaware he could grow such a plush one. He was the wild card in our friend group and seemed to carry a confidence that only the men in Italy could equal. If the party was themed he would have the costume for it. Before i asked Shumei to marry me, I already knew who my best man would be. He now hangs in the San Antonio TX with his beast of a dog, Maverick
Groomsman
Sam has held a special place in my life since he stumbled into a tattered fraternity house and spoke to me about comic books. Since then we have nerded out and shared adventures just for the sake of being the first to see a movie. Sam always has a good sense of humor but most of all Sam is a good guy. He is mellow and humble. If you are at the wedding and want to talk to someone about vinyl, Japanese whisky or the newest tech he is the guy. He is also the guy that I have found myself in more strange bars than I could count. We always ended up at the Bar where people were dressed like video game characters yet we never got the memo. He is from El Paso and a proud father of Cosmo, the craziest dog in the world.
Groomsman
Franny is the most stylish man I know. During major transitions in life Franny was the person that seemed to be there. We became friends by accident, as he moved into my apartment when I was unaware I was getting a new roommate. He presents the best perspectives on things by always treating new adventures as experiences, whether its going to school, going to work, or just hiking. He has always been the person that I could share things with. He makes sure when having a conversation with a person that it is as genuine and honest as possible. Fran seems to be the most stylish out of the group and is a good consultant when trying to match a tie to a suit. He currently lives in Carrolton, and loves to talk about anything with you.

Jack is the fixer upper. I have seen him fix toilets, cars, homes and so much more. He owns a dog, that does not like me, even though we lived together for two years. He was motivation for me professionally as I saw him access in his own career and being the best at what he could accomplish. He also owned a pizza shop for a short amount of time and that was good perk as he would bring pizza home on the regular. Now he is living in California with his lovely wife, working on rocket ships at space x. Him and I shared many beers over talking about physics, math and growing up. We dealt with Crazy neighbors that would sneak into our back yard in the middle of the night and getting lost on the streets of Fort Worth. Like a said before Jack lives in California and is a rocket scientist.

Tucker has grown up before my very eyes and I couldn't be more proud of the person he has become. I have seen him take control of his career, become my neighbor, and a friend to Shumei. He has become a uncle to my dog wilco and is also a fellow nerd. The best part about Tucker is that he is honest. Dangerously honest as he has almost started a few fiascos. Lastly tucker is a good person to hang if you just want time to slow down for a bit and not do much. He is always there to listen and I am thankful he will be standing up there with me on the day I get married. Tucker currently lives only a few doors down from us.

Edwin, where do I start? When I first met him he was running late to his shift at Buffalo Wild Wings. A year later he was part of UNT's student faculty. He has always been an inspiration from a professional stand point but he never lost sight of having fun. I had the honor to live with him, along side Jack, for a year. We took late night trips to Branson Missouri and boiled hundreds of crawfish. He always makes an effort to reach out when he is in town, even if he is right outside your door when he does it. Now he spends his time traveling and exploring and bringing little bits back from his travels as souvenirs of knowledge. But most of all I can't wait to hear him laugh at our wedding be a part of the day. He currently lives somewhere safe in Florida.
