Question

What about gifts?

Answer

We know that many of you will have spent a lot of money to be at our wedding - there is absolutely no requirement to get us a wedding gift or give us money. However, if you do wish to get us something, we've put together some ideas for inspo in the link below. Any cash contributions will go towards our planned Honeymoon to Montenegro! Bank account details: Mr John Soden and Miss Romy Pollard Sort 40-40-22 Acccount 02014726 The best gift will be sharing our most special day with you, please feel no requirement to get us anything more! https://www.myregistry.com/giftlist/johnandromy

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Grand Villa Heights: If you’d like to stay here, please let us know by the end of February. Wedding Reception: Please RSVP by 10th May. Boat Party/Welcome Drinks & BBQ: Let us know if you’re coming along by the end of June.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome at the Boat Party/Welcome Drinks, Church and the BBQ, but unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate them at the wedding reception. Newborns are still welcome provided they will not need a seat.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, however parking is very very limited outside of the church but plenty of spaces at the reception venue. We would recommend taking a taxi to the church and using the coach to get to the venue. Please let John know if you would like a spot on the coach

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be a coach to take guests from the church to the reception. For those heading back to Scarborough, a coach will be returning at midnight too.

Question

Can I wear my military uniform?

Answer

Yes, of course, no problem. John will be in his civvies!

For all the days along the way
