Whether you’re an art lover or just want to explore something cultural and calming, MARCO is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon
Fundidora Park
Fundidora is one of Monterrey’s most iconic and scenic destinations. This former steel foundry has been transformed into a beautiful urban park with walking trails, gardens, museums, and public art. You can explore the famous Steel Museum, rent bikes, or take a boat ride along the Santa Lucía Riverwalk that connects the park to the city center. It’s a peaceful, family-friendly space perfect for enjoying Monterrey’s culture and mountain views.
Museo de Acero
Located in Parque Fundidora, Museo del Acero Horno 3 is a unique museum housed inside a historic steel blast furnace. It highlights Monterrey’s industrial heritage through interactive exhibits and multimedia displays and is a great stop to pair with a walk through the park.
Paseo Santa Lucía

Chipinque Ecological Park is a beautiful natural escape tucked right into the mountains above San Pedro. Just a short drive from the city, it’s the perfect place to enjoy Monterrey’s stunning scenery and fresh mountain air. Whether you're in the mood for a peaceful walk, a morning hike, or just want to take in the views, Chipinque offers a refreshing break from the bustle. We’ve spent one of our favorite weekends here and think it’s a must-visit for anyone who enjoys nature, views, or a bit of adventure.
Mirador del obispado
Bishop’s Lookout (Mirador del Obispado) is one of the best places to take in the full view of Monterrey. Perched on a hill just a short drive from San Pedro, it’s home to one of the largest Mexican flags in the country and offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. It’s a peaceful spot to visit during the day or late afternoon, and a great way to see the beauty of Monterrey from above.
