FAQs

Question

Is There A Dress Code?

Answer

Yes, formal attire is kindly requested and required. Gentlemen are requested to wear a suit and tie, and ladies are encouraged to select a fall colored floor-length and midi-length dress. Due to the formal nature of this event, certain attires shall be prohibited, including and not limited to jeans, short dresses, sneakers, and other non-formal wear. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Question

Am I Allowed To Bring A Plus One?

Answer

Due to limited venue space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. We are expecting a large celebration, and seating is strictly limited to those invited through RSVP's. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive no later than 3:30 PM to ensure everyone is seated in time. After the ceremony has begun, we will not be admitting any new arrivals until the ceremony has concluded, so please make sure to arrive with ample time. Doors to the Chapel will open at 3:30 PM and close promptly before the ceremony begins.

Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

We are too early out to start the RSVP process. Please check back here soon :) If you are unable to make the event, please still RSVP and let us know - we will miss you!

Question

Are Children Allowed?

Answer

We are keeping this wedding adult's only. We cannot accommodate guests under the age of 16 except for those part of the wedding ceremony or otherwise specifically invited through your RSVP. If not listed on your RSVP, we cannot accommodate children. This is a very special day for us, and we appreciate your understanding.

Question

Can I Take Pictures During The Ceremony?

Answer

We appreciate your enthusiasm to capture our special day! However, we are requiring an unplugged ceremony (no cellphones), and we request that you refrain from taking pictures with your mobile device. There will be an entire photography team to help capture all the moments , and we will happily share those with you when the photos are ready. At the reception, you will be allowed and deeply encouraged to take as many pictures as you like!

Question

What Should I Expect For Parking?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue, Boxwood Manor, and will have plenty of parking. We encourage wedding parties invited to carpool to ensure everyone invited has a parking spot. Ride Share options are conveniently available as well in the area.

Question

What Food Will Be Served?

Answer

There will be no shortage of delicious food for you to enjoy, so make sure to come hungry! We will be serving a mixture of Persian and Greek food. If you or your party have food allergies, or dietary restrictions, please make due note in your RSVP.

Question

Will The Ceremony Be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception shall be held indoors, with cocktail hour occurring outdoors on the lawn.

Question

What Will The Weather Be Like?

Answer

As the classic saying goes, "if you don't like the weather in Texas, wait five minutes and it will change." It's Texas, so be prepared for anything! Given the time of year, we anticipate that it will be chilly, so bring a dressy jacket, coat or covering. The best way to be prepared in looking at the weather forecast in advance when packing.
