The wedding is on the water at 4105 Lakeshore Blvd, South Lake Tahoe and the reception is .5 miles away at Harvey's Hotel and Casino.
The venue is on the beach and is sandy so while it is not restrictive, it is uneven terrain and consideration should be made for those who have accessibility issues. Per the venue website, the sand at the beach is decomposed granite. The coarseness varies, like at many Tahoe beaches. It is more compact than ocean sand and easier to walk in.
There is not a restroom at the actual wedding site. There are public restroom approximately 50 yards down the beach.
Please reply no later than April 15, 2022. We needed to move this date up to provide the venues adequate time to ensure staffing for our event. Thank you for your understanding and response.
As we noted on the home page, due to space limitations at both the wedding and reception venues we have made the choice to not have any children under the age of 15 at our wedding and reception.
There is limited parking along the roadside and at the beach. Please plan accordingly and walk or carpool as feasible.
With the ever-changing status of the pandemic we will be updating COVID protocols for both the wedding and reception as we get closer to the date. We will follow all required guidelines for the venues.
Attire for the wedding is definitely summer casual. We will be getting married on the beach at the lake with a reception to follow indoors, upstairs at Harvey’s hotel and casino. Ladies: Sundresses, rompers, summer pantsuits or anything cute and casual Gentlemen: Tommy Bahama styled Camp shirts, polo shirts, Hawaiian shirts with either shorts, khakis or slacks
