Our Venue, Grazers Restaurant, is #14 on the map below, right by the Alpacas and across from the Dorothy Harvie Gardens. It is a 20ish minute walk from the North Zoo Entrance, where there is a large parking lot. If you do not need parking, you can go in through the Security Entrance at 1300 Zoo Road, which is a 5 minute walk to Grazers. Please note that you will be able to enter the zoo free-of-charge at any time, prior to 5pm, the day of the wedding. There are no in-and-out-privileges, however. You will simply need to tell the staff at the entrance that you’re coming in for the Wise-Gauthier Wedding. Please note that the West Entrance is closed until 2028/2029.

Arriving by Car

Answer

There is a large parking lot that can be accessed via St. George’s Drive off Memorial Drive, both east and west. Signage will direct you all the way to the gate. Address: 210 St. George’s Drive NE Parking is managed through ParkPlus, by the Calgary Parking Authority. The North Lot costs a flat rate of $13 per day. Payment can be made through the ParkPlus app. Payment machines are located at the Jayman BUILT Plaza (North Lot), close to the entrance. The payment machines take credit cards and Loonies/Toonies. Parking is valid for 24 hours from time of entry.

Arriving by Public Transit

The Zoo has it’s own C-train station! The easiest way to take city transit to the zoo is the CTrain line. The Northeast line (Route 202 or the “Blue” line) will take you to Zoo Station. When you arrive, make your way to the North Gate Entrance – it’s less than a five-minute walk.

Arriving by Bike or on Foot

Answer

Depending on where you are staying and your interest in walking you may be able to get to the Zoo via the Bow River Pathway. It is easy to access but may be a long walk.
