Plimoth Patuxet includes the historic Patuxet homesite where guests learn about the Native peoples who have lived here for over 12,000 years. The site also includes the 17th-Century English village, which is a re-creation of the small farming and maritime community built by the Pilgrims along the shore of Plymouth Harbor. There is also the Mayflower II, which is Plimoth’s full-scale reproduction of the tall ship that brought the Pilgrims to Plymouth in 1620.
There are many touristy sights, museums, and restaurants in the city of Boston. Walk along the famous Freedom Trail, which starts at the Boston Commons and takes you through one of our favorites, the North End, the famous Italian section of Boston. Be sure to check out Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Stop at Union Oyster House, Boston's oldest restaurant. Other activities in Boston include browsing the high-end shops of Newbury & Boylston Streets and visiting the Museum of Science and the New England Aquarium.
