What is the Dress Code?
Answer
Please dress in formal attire. For ladies, this would be floor-length gown, fancy cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit . For men, we ask for light or dark suit with tie optional. It may be chilly in Steamboat evening due to the altitude so we recommend looking a the weather beforehand and bringing layers. You are encouraged to bring layers for when the sun goes down, and if you're opting for heels - block heels or wedges are recommended due to grass, gravel, and uneven terrain.

Will The Wedding Be Outdoors at All?
Answer
Yes, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on top of the mountain. The reception will be held indoors at the Thunderhead lodge.

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair. Please enjoy the night off!

Is there a hotel room block?
Answer
Yes, there is a room block at the Steamboat Grand hotel located conveniently at the base of the mountain for easy access to the venue/reception. The hotel room block discount requires a minimum 2-day stay but is also valid for 3-days prior and 3-days post our wedding if you choose to make a trip out of it. Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there are a few paid parking garages near the gondola square. Steamboat Square Garage is the closest and most conveniently located paid parking, situated near the top of the escalator that carries you down to the Steamboat Square base area (gondola square). Daily parking is $15 per vehicle and for overnight parking available for $25 per vehicle. You can use the pay station kiosks or Park Mobile app. This garage is a short 4 minute walk to the gondola.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We are not providing transportation and encourage guests to book their lodging near gondola square for a short walk to/from the gondola to take you up to the venue and reception. Rideshares can be limited in Steamboat so we don’t suggest relying on Ubers/Lyfts if you are not staying near the base of the mountain.
