This is happening the weekend before our wedding! We encourage coming to town early if you can. 🍻
Delicious Japanese food- we recommend doing a yakiniku table and try their sushi as well. Great sake and nigori.
Best egg rolls ever. Not open Sunday and Monday.
Highly recommend the Stuc’s Special on thin crust. John approves. Longtime favorite of Kayleigh’s family.
Delicious Greek food
Fine dining experience with steak being a highlight. This is Mark & Eike’s favorite restaurant. Located next to the CopperLeaf Hotel.
New fine dining restaurant we are excited to try
Closest thing to a SoCal taco/burrito experience in downtown Appleton
Classic coffee house that has been around for decades
The have amazing cakes, pastries, and chai tea
Baker, dry goods, sandwiches, and some groceries.
Highly recommend for a typical Wisconsin dining/drink experience. The decor is dated, but cozy and well-maintained. It's in a really cool old building on the river. And the cheese curds are wonderful.
Next door to the wedding venue
Cleo’s is a wild bar experience- one we highly encourage experiencing.
Very, very much a Wisconsin dive bar, and fun environment
For the wine lovers- this is a great spot to buy a bottle or 2, and to try some delicious options by the glass. Wonderful setting, right on the river.
Kayleigh’s favorite cheese curds here
Modern minimalist environment, on the other side of the river near the Courtyard Appleton Riverside Hotel
This is inside the Hilton Paper Valley Hotel
Children’s museum if you brought kiddos!
Close to Hilton Paper Valley hotel- beautiful, newly remodeled park with large playground
Beautiful campus to walk that extends from College Avenue to the riverfront
Great spot for Appleton souvenirs
For those into crystals, tarot readings, and spiritual things
Best fast food restaurant to exist. Try a butter burger, a milkshake, and cheese curds. Even if you have to uber eats it.. just try to have Culver’s once. Unless you’re vegan.
Arcade games, miniature golf, go-karts
Apple picking! Also highly encourage trying their cider and apple butter.
vintage bowling alley with a bar
If you need a mall, this is your only option. Lots of businesses around the mall area too (restaurants, movie theater, arcade, grocery stores). If you DO go to this mall, we highly encourage visiting the Scheels sporting goods store. There is a wonderful sweets factory on the second floor, and if you like any Wisconsin sports teams, they will have gear. They also have a lot of activewear brands and sneaker brands, as well as any outdoor things you need.
Fun arcade with laser tag for kids and adults that has a pizza restaurant and movie theater attached. This is close to the mall and Woodman’s grocery store.
Get a burger, fries, shake, and cheese curds here. Not recommending anything else.
Another Fast food favorite. These are some of the best fried cheese curds around.
Paint & Sip
They have literally everything you need in excess. It’s an insanely large grocery store. Check out the cheese and frozen pizza aisles. Cash/debit card only!
Closer than Woodman’s and a bit less exciting, but typical awesomeness of Aldi.
Elite gas station with great snacks and drinks
