Kalista, or "Cookie's" future sister and best friend since middle school -- Alexa, or Lex, or Lou -- has seen Kalista through many a troubled time, like during her braces phase. She's been a part of the "Balagia Bunch" since 2007, traveling on trips and outings. It's about time she became an official part of the family. In 2019, Cainan, Kalista's brother, asked Alexa to be his wife and they're planning to marry next year. Alexa is irreplaceable to Kalista, her best and closest friend, god-mom to Kalista's three fur babies, and official taste-tester of all of Kalista's kitchen creations. Kalista couldn't imagine having her day without Alexa, and can't wait for Alexa's last name to officially change. We love you so much, Lexie Lou!

Cainan, Kalista's brother, introduced Kalista to Rachel Lau and Megan Bourassa 3 years ago while he was enrolled at UT Law. Kalista quickly and willingly stole his friends. Rachel is one of those rare gems of friends. She'll laugh and cry with you, encourage you to enjoy life and stand alongside you during life's toughest moments. Rachel brings so much joy to every single person she meets. Her humor is enough to turn the darkest day into the brightest! We're blessed to have Rachel with us today! We love you, Rach!
Megan Bourassa

Cainan, Kalista's brother, introduced Kalista to Rachel Lau and Megan Bourassa 3 years ago while he was enrolled at UT Law. Kalista quickly and willingly stole his friends. Kalista has rarely met a person as understanding and kind-hearted as Megan. Megan goes above and beyond for her friends and is a cheerleader for self-care. Megan advocates hard for people and is always willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, and if Kalista had met Megan in High School, they would've listened to Paramore together. We love you Megan!
