Over the last 100 years, the Seiberling Mansion has been a residence, university, and today a beautifully restored historic landmark and home of the Howard County Historical Society. Features include late-Victorian architecture, hand-carved woodwork, and multiple exhibits throughout highlighting the history of Howard County. Open Tuesday – Sunday from 1-4pm. Admission $10 adults and $5 for students ages 18 & under.

The world’s largest steer, Old Ben weighed 125 pounds at birth in 1902 and between 4,585-4,720 pounds at his death in 1910. He stood 6.5 feet tall and 16.25 feet long from nose to the tip of his tail!!

Kokomo Opalescent Glass is America’s oldest art glass company and has been producing the highest quality art glass at its original location in Kokomo since 1888. Experience art glass that is hand-ladled and rolled from a 2,500-degree furnace and watch blown glass demonstrations from skilled artists as they make amazing hand-blown glass creations in the KOG Hot Glass Studio. Public factory tours are given at 10:00am Monday – Friday. Tour fee $6.

The bright red Vermont Covered Bridge in Highland Park is the final remaining Smith Type #3 Trusses in Indiana. The bridge is a transplant from the town of Vermont, which is about 5 miles east of Kokomo.
