Wedding Day Agenda and Attire

The Wedding Website of Hannah Namenson and John Martinuk
We are so excited to share our wedding with our dearest friends and family. Please know that your health and safety are our biggest concern. Even though we continue to plan for our October 31, 2020 wedding, we are aware that, like thousands of other couples, we may have to reschedule our special day. If we are able to proceed with our wedding this Halloween, be sure that we, as well as our vendors, will comply with all Covid-19 restrictions and mandates. As for wedding attire, far be it for us to tell our guests how to dress. We just want you to be happy, healthy, and ready to celebrate. If you would like to have fun with our wedding theme, our suggestion is Gothic elegance. For those of you who choose to wear stilettos, "you go girl"; but, BEWARE, the grass will be soft so please be careful not to lose your footing. However you choose to adorn yourselves, please be prepared to eat, drink, and be merry! See below for a schedule of the evening's events.

Bonding Ceremony

4:00 pm - 4:45 pm

Martinuk Farm
2919 Old Elk Neck Road, Elkton, MD 21921

The bride's father will be the "Master" of ceremonies. The Bonding Ceremony will take place under a Chuppa designed and constructed by the bride and her bridesmaid Sophie. It will be a secular service, but Jewish customs will be observed at times during the ceremony and reception to honor the bride's family traditions.

Potions and Tasty Morsels

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

There will be light bites to satisfy your cravings and beverages to quench your thirst. Alcoholic beverages will include beer, wine (red and white), and two signature cocktails (one conjured up by the bride and one by the groom). There will also be water, iced tea, lemonade, and soda for those who prefer to keep their heads.

Feast of the Betrothed/Dancing in the Moonlight

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Martinuk Farm, 2919 Old Elk Neck Road, Elkton, MD

Our reception will take place under a clear tent for optimum viewing of the Halloween blue moon. Dinner will be served buffet style, with offerings for both carnivores and herbivores. Our DJ will compliment the Halloween blue moon with songs to inspire all souls to dance in the moonlight .
