Hotel

Grand Hyatt Washington

1000 H Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001

Flight

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

This is the airport we recommend flying into as it is the easiest and quickest way to get to D.C. An Uber, Lyft or taxi are usually $20-30 to get from Reagan into downtown D.C. Follow the signs after you get your bags. For public transit, follow signs to the Metro. To get to the Grand Hyatt: If you get on the Blue line: -Get on the train heading toward Largo Town Center (if you don't see that name, please consult a nearby map) -If you are staying at the Grand Hyatt, get off at Metro Center If you get on the Yellow line: -Get on the train headed to Greenbelt or Fort Totten (if you don't see either, please consult a metro map on the platform) -Take the train to L'Enfant Plaza -Get off the Yellow line and go downstairs to the Blue/Orange/Silver lines -Board the train to Vienna (if Orange), Franconia-Springfield (if Blue) or Ashburn (if Silver) -Get off at Metro Center

Flight

Dulles International Airport

So Dulles was cheaper than flying into Reagan, huh? It's cool, we got you. An Uber/Lyft/taxi from Dulles to downtown D.C. is about $40-70. If you're seeking a cheaper option, the Metro's Silver Line runs from Dulles right to downtown D.C. Follow signs for the Metro. Those staying at the Grand Hyatt will want to get to the Metro Center stop (which is also on the Silver Line!)

Flight

Baltimore/Washington International Airport

Welcome to Baltimore, the hometown of John Sanders! If you're not someone who loves travel logistics, we highly suggest you take an Uber/Lyft/taxi. Yes it's gonna set you back like, $50-80, but you will have been saved a potential headache. If you've chosen adventure, then get on the shuttle going to self parking and MARC/Amtrak. You'll eventually get to a big parking garage with the train tracks ahead of you. Ideally, you've checked the MARC and Amtrak schedule and found a train that leaves about 45 minutes to an hour after your arrival. Take the train to Union Station. Once at Union Station, get from the train to the Metro. Get on the Metro headed to Shady Grove for three stops and get out at Metro Center.
