When John first told Aurora he'd never seen a bald eagle in the wild she was SHOCKED, because she had grown up driving across the Conowingo Dam and seeing how many eagles she could count. Fisherman's Park is one of the best spots to see bald eagles east of the Mississippi along with plenty of other birds. The Lower Susquehanna Greenway Trail also starts at Fisherman's Park and is an easy hike along the banks of the Susquehanna.
John and Aurora have gone for many a run (some of them better than others) on the Ma and Pa trail. It starts right in the middle of Bel Air, stretching about 3 miles one direction, and is built along portions of the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad Corridor.
Visit this historic lighthouse and go for a stroll on the boardwalk promenade along the water. John and Aurora recommend stopping at Bomboy's Homemade Candy or Bomboy's Ice Cream a few blocks away first to fuel up
