Due to COVID 19 we have decided to postpone our wedding until it's safe for all of us to celebrate together. Stay tuned for a new date in 2022

We were set-up on a blind date by a mutual friend (thanks Kandice!) when we both lived in Kailua, Hawaii in 2016. For the blind date, we decided to meet up at the Kalapawai Market and hike the Lanikai Pill Boxes for sunset with dinner to follow. John arrived early and decided to grab a coffee to kill time. When Aurora arrived, John promptly spilled his coffee down his front which helped ease the nerves and also knocked John's ego down a few pegs. The blind date was a great time for both of us. We ended up spending the majority of the weekend together and quickly made plans to hangout at the soonest opportunity. We haven't looked back since!

John proposed to Aurora in April, 2019 in Hawaii. John was in Hawaii for work so Aurora decided to make a trip out of it and joined. After a day full of hiking and ultimate-frisbee with former co-workers, we recreated our first date (minus the spilled coffee). After hiking up the Lanikai Pillbox trail, John waited for the sun to start setting and then got down on one knee to ask Aurora to be his partner for life. She said yes! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you in August 2020!
