There is a lot to do in Mendocino, and you'll have plenty of down time. Here's what we suggest.
The Town of Mendocino has much to offer. There are many great restaurants and galleries.
The Mendocino Headlands is right downtown - it's a series of beautiful cliffside hiking trails surrounded by fields of flowers. Highly recommend.
Big River Beach is right down the road - it's a great spot, and you can actually surf there if you're so inclined.
The Little River Inn has a public golf course that is apparently quite nice - right on the coast. Buy golf balls because you'll probably lose a few.
Kayak Mendocino is great for, well, kayaking in Mendocino. There are a ton of sea caves in the area - great option for getting out in the sun and exploring.
Local spas include Orr Hot Springs Resort, Sweetwater Inn and Spa and Vichy Springs.
