to Wine Country
The most convenient airports to Sonoma are San Francisco (SFO) 58 miles or ~1 hr 15 min; Oakland (OAK) 59 miles or ~1 hr 30 min; and Sacramento (SMF) 75 miles or ~1 hr 40 min. We don’t recommend Santa Rosa (STS) due to delays and limited service.
Rental Car
Getting Around
Driving is the fastest way to reach Sonoma, and we encourage renting or sharing a car since rideshares are limited and Sonoma is beautiful, but not particularly walkable. Public transit is possible from SFO and OAK but slower with transfers. For shuttles, we suggest Angel Limo.

Guest shuttles will pick up and return from our preferred hotels: The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, or the El Pueblo Inn. We kindly ask all guests to stay at one of these hotels, as driving to the venue is discouraged. Please book early—both properties will fill quickly during wedding season.
