Lima is a small town in southwest Montana and the location of the Wedding venue; the Jones Family Ranch is two miles north and easy to find. The Bride’s Brother, Walter Jones and his Wife, Irene, are our Hosts. If you are driving, from Interstate 15 take the Lima turnoff and travel north on Harrison St. (frontage road) for two miles and at Gleed Lane follow the signs to the Wedding. The closest commercial airport is seventy-five miles away in Idaho Falls, Idaho. There is a smaller landing strip in Dell just six miles from the Ranch.
The weather is usually in the seventies and eighties this time of year but it always gets cool in the evenings so you will need a jacket or sweater. All activities, except dancing, will be on grass, so flat shoes are the best footwear.
The ranch is at 6,200 feet elevation and there are a number of activities to enjoy outdoors such as hiking, biking, fishing (bring your fishing pole), or just enjoying the Red Rock River which flows through the Ranch. There will be games such as horseshoes, croquet, corn bag toss, badminton and volleyball. Also card and board games.
Yes. Everyone is invited to camp. There are five acres of grass at the Ranch for camping and other activities. We will be camping in our Coach. Walter says you can come as early as you like before the wedding and stay as long as you want after the wedding.
