When and where is the wedding?

Our ceremony will take place at St. Michael Catholic Church in historic Fernandina Beach, followed by our reception at Walker’s Landing located on the grounds of the Omni Amelia Island Resort.

Where should we stay?
Answer
We recommend staying at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, where we have reserved a room block for our guests. It is the most convenient option for transportation, events, and enjoying the weekend with everyone. Guests are also welcome to stay at any nearby hotel, rental home, or off-site accommodations that best fit their plans. Please visit our Travel page for booking details and reservation deadlines.

When should we stay?

Our room block is available from Tuesday, October 27 through Tuesday, November 3 at the same discounted rate. Guests are welcome to stay for the wedding weekend or extend their trip and enjoy a longer vacation on Amelia Island.

What if we have a change in plans and can no longer make it?
Answer
To help us finalize accommodations and reception arrangements, we kindly request that any cancellations or changes be made by September 15th, 2026. After this date, we are financially responsible for confirmed guest counts and reserved rooms.

The nearest airport is Jacksonville International Airport, approximately 40–45 minutes from the resort.

Do I need a rental car?
Answer
Not necessarily. Many guests may find rideshare or airport transportation sufficient, especially if staying at the resort.

Is transportation provided?
Answer
Transportation will be provided only after the ceremony from the front entrance of the Omni Amelia Island Resort to Walker’s Landing for the reception. Transportation is not provided to the church before the ceremony or back from the church afterward, so guests should plan to drive or use rideshare services for ceremony transportation. The church is about 18 minutes from the hotel.

How do we get from the ceremony to the reception?

Following the ceremony, guests should make their way to the front entrance of the Omni Amelia Island Resort. Complimentary resort shuttles will transport guests to the reception venue. We kindly ask guests not to park directly at Walker’s Landing, as transportation has been arranged for everyone’s convenience.

Formal attire requested. Ladies: floor-length gowns, cocktail-length dresses, or elegant evening attire. Gentlemen: suits with ties preferred.

We would like this be an adult only reception, however. we understand everyone has a family. We adore the little ones and exceptions will be made so please reach out.

Yes. For guests traveling with children, the Omni Amelia Island Resort offers childcare options including private nanny/babysitting services and a children’s camp-style program.
