Are children invited?
Answer
As much as we love your children, our ceremony and reception will be for adults only, and we ask that you please make any necessary arrangements for the weekend.

What are the Covid protocols?
Answer
At this time, Skytop Lodge does not require masks for those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. We encourage all guests to receive both doses of the vaccine as soon as possible if they have not already, for their safety and the safety of all our guests.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The average high temperature for August in the Poconos is around 79 degrees, and the average low temperature is around 58 degrees. Thunderstorms are possible but typically blow over quickly. We recommend bringing layers as it can get chilly in the mountains when the sun goes down, and checking the weather forecast for Skytop, PA before packing!

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code for the wedding is black-tie optional. This means tuxedos may be worn, but are not a requirement- a formal suit and tie are fine. Guests may also go the long evening gown route, but a dressy suit or shorter cocktail dress are fine as well!

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony- which means we are asking that phones and cameras remain off and put away for the entire ceremony. Please remain present in the moment with us and leave the picture taking to our professional photographers! We welcome you to take as many pictures as you'd like during the remainder of the evening.

What is for dinner?
Answer
Prime Rib of Beef, Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon, and Roasted European Style Chicken Breast. There will also be a vegetarian option, and alterations can be made for those with food allergies- just be sure to make a note when you RSVP!
