These were the sunglasses I wore to work after our second date, because I had forgotten my sunglasses at his house!

This was the photo proof he sent that he had my sunglasses safe and sound :)

This was one of our early dates -- a very rainy evening at the Asian Lantern Festival at the Cleveland zoo.

This was the first night we said I love you to each other.

This was our first "vacation" away together. We went to Haunt at Kings Island, had these yummy drinks, and I rode my first roller coaster in a very long time!

We also visited his sister at Miami and took these photos under an arch that's supposed to bring good relationship luck. I guess it worked!

I *think* this was taken in the antique cars at Kings Island…

This has become a regular stop for us when we go to Cincinnati — Jungle Jim’s!

This was a fun day off for us — first the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame…

…and then a Monsters hockey game!

This was our first Thanksgiving together :)

Over thanksgiving weekend, we headed back down to the Cincinnati area to go to Winterfest at Kings Island.

Another Winterfest shot. Admittedly, not Frosty’s best angle!

We went to Burton for a pancake breakfast!
(I was so, so sick on this day, but I didn't want to miss out on the pancakes.)

We discovered a shared love of cheap, buffet pizza -- but we have to go to Cincinnati to get it!

This was taken at the Marblehead lighthouse.

It wasn't quite opening day, but we spent a Saturday at Cedar Point pretty early in the season. It was a pretty chilly, cloudy day.

We all got dressed up for Tony's wedding!

We also love exploring the metroparks.

We had an eventful one-year anniversary trip to (you guessed it!) Cincinnati -- this was taken on the rooftop bar at Rhinegeist brewery.

Another one from our anniversary trip -- this time, on the bridge between Cincinnati and Newport.

We spent several summer Sundays at Cedar Point.

Michael and I volunteered to staff the Akron zoo table for a couple of hours at Akron Pride, and we had so much fun!

We went apple picking, and posed with our apple babies :)

We also celebrated his cousin's sendoff to Miami for his freshman year.

This was my first Browns game in a long time. It was a Saturday in August that started out hot and muggy and ended in a downpour.

For Michael's birthday, we both ended up behind bars... at the Ohio State Reformatory, where we got to tour the building where some of Shawshank Redemption was shot.

Since I'm not the biggest roller coaster fan, Michael placates me with a ride on the racing horses every time we go to Cedar Point.
