How do I RSVP?

Answer

Once the invitations go out, the RSVP page will open on this website. If you're having difficulty with the RSVP page (hey, technology isn't always perfect!) please email Brianna and Michael at bandmjohanni@gmail.com and we'll get you squared away.

Answer

RSVPs will need to be submitted by September 13th.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation is addressed to "[Name] and guest," then yes! The RSVP page on this website will also indicate if we've accounted for a plus one attached to your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Generally, yes! If we have reserved a seat for your kids, they will be listed on the RSVP portion of the website, and the invitation will likely have been addressed to "_____ and family."

Can I bring my pets?

Answer

No. Service dogs are more than welcome, but pets are not. It is also not allowed to leave them in the car during the ceremony or reception. Please leave pets at home.

What's the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to join us in cocktail attire. Please wear a suit or blazer with dress pants, or a midi-length cocktail dress or dressy separates would be ideal. If you would like to match our theme, the colors are navy, blush pink and gray.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

What's the parking situation?

There is ample parking in the attached parking lots at both the ceremony location and the reception location.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We would like to start the ceremony promptly at 2:30pm, so please arrive no later than 2:15pm to allow yourself time to get seated.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would prefer if all of our guests were present in the moment with us, without the distraction of trying to get the perfect shot on their phones. We will be having a team of professional photographers taking pictures during the ceremony, which we will post on our social media accounts as soon as we're able.

What time can I arrive at the reception hall?

Doors will open at 5pm, with light hors d'oeuvres being offered until dinner is served.

What time will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Dinner will be a buffet, and the caterers will start serving at 6:00pm.

What is being served for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be provided by Casa D'Angelo, located on Aurora Road in Macedonia. We're having chicken parmesan, honey bourbon salmon, grandma's shells (pasta shells in a garlic cream sauce with mushrooms), garlic mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Salad and dinner rolls will be available at each table. There will also be pizza served as a late-night snack.

Will there be an open bar and music at the reception?

Yes to both! Music will be family-friendly until 9pm, but no guarantees after that!

If I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block set up, but there are numerous hotels in Independence, close to I-77.
