We’re getting married!

Yes, it’s crazy, we know! We met on a dating app, and our first conversation on March 2, 2016, lasted an incredible 6 hours and 32 minutes. Fun fact: Daniel didn’t stutter once during that entire conversation! The very next day, we went on our magical first date, and the day after that, Daniel told his family I was his girlfriend and introduced me to his entire family (extended family included!). Things moved fast for us. However, when it came time for Daniel to meet my family, things weren’t as smooth. Daniel was my first official boyfriend, so my dad and I had quite a few discussions before agreeing to let Daniel meet everyone. In the meantime, I had to cook and clean for the whole family to prepare. When Daniel finally showed up, my entire family was seated at the dinner table, and my mom, Isabel, had prepared a little test. She made Daniel sit on an old, wobbly stool for the whole dinner! By the end of the night, Daniel left with some serious back pain! Our relationship hasn’t always been easy, but no matter what, we always find our way back to each other. From day one, we’ve been inseparable.

Al día siguiente, tuvimos nuestra primera cita, y al día siguiente, Daniel le dijo a su familia que yo era su novia y me presentó a toda su familia (¡incluida la familia extendida!). Las cosas avanzaron rápido entre nosotros. Sin embargo, cuando llegó el momento de que Daniel conociera a mi familia, las cosas no fueron tan sencillas. Daniel fue mi primer novio oficial, así que mi papá y yo tuvimos varias discusiones antes de estar de acuerdo en que conociera a todos. Al final de la noche, ¡Daniel se fue con un dolor de espalda serio! Nuestra relación no siempre ha sido fácil, pero pase lo que pase, siempre encontramos el camino de vuelta el uno al otro.
