No! You're obviously welcome to, but show up whenever you want and leave whenever you want. We'll be happy to see you whenever!
Literally whatever you want. I mean, use your judgment--this is for sure a shirts/shoes required event. But aside from that...want to wear your high school prom dress? Go for it! A T-Rex costume? Do you! Socks and sandals? I mean, if you insist! Basically, if we're able to have an actual party with lots of people, we want it to be a full on celebration, and we don't care what you wear as long as you're there! (and you're wearing a shirt/shoes/something on your bottom half)
We're planning on having a variety of sandwiches and appetizers for lunch after the ceremony. If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, let Johanna know (her email address is above), and she'll make sure that there's something good for you to eat. You're also free to bring your own food/drink if you feel like you absolutely must have your grandmother's potato salad, or desperately want margaritas, or something. We haven't worked out how food will be served yet, but if things continue to look good on the pandemic front, we will likely have a buffet--as an additional precaution, we may ask guests to sanitize their hands and wear masks when they serve themselves (which maybe should have been standard buffet practice all along, honestly).
Beer, wine, sangria, and soft drinks will be provided. We're not allowed to sell alcohol at the Braintree Yacht Club, but guests are allowed to bring whatever they want to drink, so if you have something you really want, you're free to bring it!
Be responsible, and use your best judgement! Good life advice, and especially good pandemic advice. We don't have a great idea of what things will look like at the end of August, so we will provide masks and hand sanitizer, and will hold the bulk of our celebration outdoors.
