Ok, so here we are on our third date change, and hopefully this is the one that sticks. After our little backyard mid-pandemic elopement, we reevaluated our priorities for our wedding, and decided that we wanted something simple, easy, and big--after the year of isolation and uncertainty, we wanted as many people as possible to celebrate with us once it's safe to do so. So we changed our venue, changed our date, changed everything about the party we'd planned, and we're crossing our fingers that we'll be able to celebrate with everyone on August 21, 2021, at the Braintree Yacht Club!
...but we've decided to wait a little while before it starts. Because the available data on the COVID-19 outbreak in Massachusetts suggests that it may not be safe to gather this summer, we've decided to postpone our wedding until we're sure all our guests will be able to safely celebrate with us--masks and gloves optional. We are planning on having a tiny courthouse wedding this August (health insurance!), but--especially after the social-distancing-dumpster-fire that 2020 has turned out to be--we're looking forward to celebrating what we consider our "real" wedding with all our friends and family in 2021!
We met in fall of 2011, at auditions for The Legend of Sleepy Hollow at Emmanuel College, and almost immediately bonded over our mutual love of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Disney movies. Our first date was getting coffee and going to SpookyWorld at Fenway Park. And the rest is history!
