Charlottesville offers a wide range of accommodations, but hotels tend to book quickly—especially during peak seasons—so we recommend making reservations as early as possible. For your convenience, we’ve selected a cluster of hotel blocks along Route 29. If you plan to take advantage of the wedding shuttle, we strongly recommend staying at one of these hotels or at a nearby property within walking distance. While there are many additional hotel options throughout downtown Charlottesville and the surrounding area, the shuttle will only service the Route 29 hotel cluster.

A room block has been reserved at the Courtyard by Marriott Charlottesville for our wedding guests. To receive a special room rate of $169 for Standard King and Queen rooms, please call the hotel directly and mention the Divita/Cathey wedding when booking. Please note that there are two Courtyard by Marriotts in Charlottesville, the room block is reserved for the Hillsdale Drive location. The Courtyard by Marriott Charlottesville will serve as one of the designated shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations for the wedding day. Staying here is recommended for guests planning to use the shuttle.

A room block has been reserved at The English Inn for our wedding guests. Check their website for the latest rates, or to receive a special room rate of $224 for Standard King/Queen rooms, please call the hotel directly and mention the Divita/Cathey wedding when booking. Room rates will increase in April, so we strongly encourage booking as early as possible to secure the discounted rate and availability. The English Inn will serve as one of the designated shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations for the wedding day. Staying here is recommended for guests planning to use the shuttle.

Wedding Day Shuttle

May 9, 2026 3:45 pm - 4:00 pm

A courtesy shuttle will be provided from both the Courtyard Marriott and from the English Inn at 3:45. The shuttle will leave promptly at 4:00PM. Return shuttles will be provided back to the same locations. The early shuttle back will depart from the venue at 8:45/9:00PM. The later shuttle will depart from the venue at 11:00PM. We encourage you to take the shuttle if you plan to enjoy the open bar! If you decide to drive there but shuttle back, you may get an Uber back to the venue the next day to retrieve your vehicle. Note: The venue is in Crozet, VA. It is a rural location with limited cell service. Getting an Uber or Lyft back to Charlottesville the night of the wedding is highly unlikely.

Flight

Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport

The closest airport to our venue is Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport (CHO), located just 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. For additional options, both Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) are within driving distance (about 2–2.5 hours away) and offer a wider range of flights.

Train

Charlottesville Union Station (Amtrak)

Charlottesville is also accessible by train via Charlottesville Union Station (CVS), located downtown. The station is served by multiple Amtrak routes with direct service from Washington, DC, Philadelphia, New York, and beyond.
