Our venue is in East Aurora, NY. Not to be confused with Aurora, NY. Do not book lodging in Aurora, NY. If you're looking at spots near the Finger Lakes, please reset your location to the Buffalo area and save yourself the surprise of a lengthy commute on our wedding day. Airbnb's in East Aurora are limited, but there will be plenty of options in and around the city of Buffalo. We recommend looking in the Elmwood Village or Allentown neighborhoods.
It is not. In fact, Aurora is actually two hours and 20 minutes east of East Aurora (where our wedding will take place). They're in an entirely different part of the state! Whose idea was that?! Please make sure that you double check your location when you book lodging. And please make sure that location is East Aurora, NY.
The city of Buffalo is about 20 minutes from East Aurora. There will be bus transportation from XXX in the city. There will also be a shuttle from the Hampton Inn in East Aurora. Uber/Lyft/taxi service is available in the area. We recommend arranging your rides in advance. We also suggest carpooling to reduce costs per person. Parking at the venue is limited, we recommend carpooling if possible.
All you have to do is ask yourself, "WWJD?" (What would Joey do?). He'd probably wear natural fibers... maybe a tie... definitely a really sharp blazer. Still not sure? Cocktail attire is preferred. Look fabulous. Capes optional.
Buffalo is very cool. And also fun! It's full of hidden gems and friendly folks and undeniable comfort food. Whether you're returning to the area or visiting for the first time, we can't wait to host you in the Queen City... the City of Good Neighbors... the crown jewel of Lake Erie. Check out our list of things to do for some travel inspo.
That's silly. Don't worry, the table will definitely not be flaming.
