We’re getting married at The Wilmont, at Gold Mountain Ranch in Ouray, Colorado on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026. Both our ceremony and reception will take place on-site at The Wilmont. See the Schedule Page for official details.
Due to the nature of the venue being on a mountain cliffside at high altitude and our limited guest count, our celebration will be an adults-only event. While we love your little ones, we hope this can be a relaxing getaway for you to enjoy some personal time in the mountains.
To keep our wedding intimate and within the capacity of our venue, we are only able to welcome guests who are personally named on the invitation. We kindly ask that any uninvited plus ones not attend.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the venue. We appreciate your understanding!
You can RSVP directly through our wedding website here on the RSVP page. If your plans change and you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Our venue has a limited guest capacity, and a lot of care is going into this celebration, so your timely & honest response helps us make the day special for everyone. The deadline to RSVP is July 16th, 2026.
Parking is limited on the mountain, which is why we’ll be offering a shuttle service for all guests on the wedding day. We kindly ask that everyone use the shuttle for ease and safety. Official shuttle details will be posted on the website as we get closer to the wedding. For the welcome party, shuttles will not be available, and we highly recommend carpooling if possible.
Gold Mountain Ranch sits at 9,300 feet in elevation, with a stunning drive up the mountain. We’ll be providing a required shuttle service for guests to and from the venue to ensure everyone arrives safely and comfortably. Official shuttle details and pickup location/times will be shared as we get closer to the day. Additional travel details for flights and lodging can be found on the Travel Page!
Check out our Travel Page here on the website for recommendations on the nearest airports, hotels, and rental car options. The towns of Ouray and Ridgway offer hotels, mountain lodges, and boutique stays nearby.
Our celebration is formal / black-tie optional. We are having a late-summer Tuscan garden party inspired wedding. You can find outfit inspiration and guidance on our Dress Code page here on the website. Please keep in mind that the venue features stone steps and grassy areas, so we recommend avoiding stilettos or very thin heels. As the sun sets, the mountain air cools quickly even in the summer—bring a light jacket or wrap to stay comfortable throughout the evening.
September in Ouray is a beautiful summer month, with mild daytime temperatures in the 60s–70s°F and cool evenings at this elevation. While it’s typically a pleasant time of year, mountain weather can be unpredictable at any time. We’re hoping for a clear, comfortable day, but we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap and being prepared for any weather scenario the mountains might bring.
Our wedding will take place at 9,300 feet above sea level, which means the air is thinner and the sun is stronger than you might be used to! To help your body adjust, we recommend: - Arriving in Ouray a day early to acclimate before heading up the mountain. - Drinking plenty of water and avoiding alcohol the day/s before the wedding to prevent dehydration and altitude sickness. - Wearing sunscreen on your face, neck, and any exposed areas of skin—the sun is strong at this elevation! - We’ll also have hydration and comfort stations throughout the venue with water, electrolytes, sunscreen, and other essentials to keep everyone feeling their best on the day.
