Do I Need to Speak Italian

Answer

Italians will appreciate the effort, but most people speak or understand English. Some helpful Italian phrases are: Ciao - Hi/Bye Grazie - Thanks Prego - You're welcome Scusi - Excuse me Colazione - Breakfast Pranzo - Lunch Cena - Dinner Il conto - The bill Caffè - Espresso Caffè Americano- Coffee Bagno - Bathroom Non parlo Italiano - I don't speak Italian

Where are we staying?

Answer

The space is limited at Castella la Leccia, so we will be planning out the room allocation to accommodate guests as the RSVPs come in. If you have any requests or information you believe we should know beforehand, please reach out to Meridith and Joey directly via joeyandmer2021@gmail.com or contact our wedding coordinator.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be a vacation for you too! Per the guest limit at our venue, we will we not be able to have children attend. However, if you are traveling with your children please let Meridith know.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Elegant/Cocktail Chic, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

There will be lots to do on and around the property, as well as in Castellina!
