When should I RSVP by?

Answer

No later than February 5. Start your 2025 with an RSVP to our wedding weekend!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Be our 'something BLUE' and dress for the occasion in shades of blue. We ask that you dress in cocktail or formal attire - celebrate the afternoon with your best dress! Be mindful of Missouri weather conditions in early March. The venue is a beautiful space with indoor and outdoor options that will be utilized throughout the afternoon.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Sure is! There is gravel parking next to the venue and signage will lead you into the ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are having an intimate wedding for loved ones, family and friends. If you are allocated a +1 it was indicated on your invitation and when you RSVP. Otherwise, we ask that you do not bring a date to keep the ceremony small.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are celebrating all weekend long and will continue the party in our hometown of Eldon, Missouri on Sunday, March 9th. You are welcome to join us at North Street Venue.

I cannot make to Kansas City. Is there another time to celebrate the couple?

Answer

Yes! If you cannot make it to March 7, let us know. We are doing a separate reception in Eldon, Missouri (our hometown) on March 9 and would be happy to extend an invitation to you to that event instead, should you be able to make it. Otherwise, we will be having a bridal shower in December and a couples shower in February.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 2 PM for the ceremony. Our ushers will be ready to seat you for a prompt ceremony start at 2:30 PM. Late guests will not be seated until the processional is complete.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Outside of children involved in the wedding party and/or immediate family that are listed on invitations, this is a child-free event. This is largely to keep the event intimate.

Is everything at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Once you are at White Iron Ridge, you will not need to leave until the send-off later that evening.

Will we see you Saturday before we head home?

Answer

We are still working on details, but hoping to do a casual coffee shop outing in the morning or rent a pickleball court or two for attendees to continue to mingle. We want to celebrate together and spend as much time with you over our wedding extravaganza weekend!

Will there be transportation?

Answer

No — Uber is readily available in Smithville, and many of the nearby hotels offer shuttle transportation. Check when booking!

What's on the menu?

Answer

The most important question. We get it! We will have a catered hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour, alongside a latte bar and open bar featuring our favorite drinks. Once the reception starts, we will have appetizer stations and menus will be at your table to direct you to the various options around the room. Dessert to include macarons (Joey's favorite!), donut holes, and other treats.

Can I RSVP?

Answer

Yes! You can RSVP on this website at any time between now and the wedding. If you received a digital Save the Date from us, you can now RSVP. This helps us to coordinate with our various vendors - please RSVP as soon as you are able, and no later than February 5. There is no need to wait until you get an official paper invitation in the mail.
